Spacious, bright and infused with sleek, contemporary style, this appealing holiday home offers fabulous rural views, a hot tub and a large garden where your furry friend can let off steam. Set between Carmarthen and Llanelli, it’s close to all kinds of attractions and makes an ideal base for a family holiday or a get-together with friends.
For a real get-away-from-it-all break, this smartly decorated cottage offers a choice of relaxing spaces - a light-filled lounge or a cosier snug (the latter with a sofa bed), each equipped with Smart TVs so you can catch up with a favourite series while the little ones watch a cartoon. From the lounge it’s two steps down to the open-plan kitchen/diner, a fabulous space where you can create delicious suppers and then linger over your food at the large dining table. Also on this floor is a shower room, which is complemented by a family bathroom on the first floor. The four bright and airy bedrooms - two doubles, a twin and a bunk-bed room for two - are all upstairs. From the dining area, with a small step down, French doors lead out to the patio and the seven-person hot tub, where you can soak while enjoying the fresh air. And, as you watch your little ones or four-pawed bestie playing on the sloping lawn, you can drink or dine under the stars, perhaps grilling something delicious on the BBQ.
From the cottage you can head out and explore all kinds of destinations, including Llyn Llech Owain Country Park, 6 miles, where there’s a network of footpaths around a lake. In Llandeilo, 13 miles, you’ll find independent boutiques and quirky antique shops, while Kidwelly, 9 miles, has one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales.
