Sleeping four in two bedrooms, this delightful cottage is nestled within historic Polruan, with easy access to Fowey and beyond. Enjoy beautiful views over the estuary from inside and out, relax in front of the wood burner or soak in the freestanding bath in the double bedroom.
Step into this welcoming property and upstairs into its elegant lounge, from which you can enjoy views of the water, cuddle up by the wood burner (furry friend at your feet) and watch a movie on the Smart TV. The dining room has a wooden dining table for six as well as a pretty dresser, and the kitchen is well equipped, including that all-important coffee machine. On the first floor, the double bedroom has the benefit of an en-suite WC and a freestanding bath within the room itself - ideal for some bubbles and chill-out time. The twin bedroom boasts dual-aspect windows and views down the street to the water, and there’s also a family bathroom with a drench shower. For fresh air and alfresco meals, head down the steps from the dining room to find a patio terrace set over different levels, outdoor furniture and a summerhouse. Here you can appreciate the fabulous views across the estuary.
When you’ve wandered the steeply sloping streets and steps of Polruan, which has a couple of pubs, a village store and cafe, hop on the passenger ferry across to the chic coastal town of Fowey, home to a variety of excellent eateries, pubs, galleries and boutique shops. From the top of the village you can follow the coast path on a mile-long hike to Lantic Bay and its dog-friendly, sandy beach, or walk up to the car park at the top of the village and drive out to the Eden Project, 15.5 miles.
