Immerse yourself in the beautiful countryside of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a stay at this enchanting retreat, which welcomes groups of humans and hounds to stay and play together. From the village of Pateley Bridge (4 miles), you’ll have easy access to the Nidderdale Way, a stunning 53-mile circular walk through the valley and uplands which is sure to set tails wagging with the plethora of sights and scents along the way.
As you enter, the underfloor heating offers a warm welcome, with plenty of space to take off your shoes and coats in the hall. The main social space is the open-plan kitchen/living room/diner, a charming area with exposed beams, unique handpicked pieces of furniture and a real sense of home. In this space, you can sink into the comfortable sofa to watch a film, get creative cooking up a feast in the kitchen or gather around the dining table for a meal or a night of board games. Separate from the open-plan room is a second more formal living room with a calming colour palette of natural hues and a beautiful feature fireplace where you can truly relax. There’s also a handy shower room and utility room located on the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor, there are three wonderful bedrooms, each with their own quirks, starting with a king-size zip-and-link bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The twin and double bedrooms both offer clean and crisp decor and a pretty skylight that allows you to gaze up at the stars at night. The rooms share the use of the pretty family bathroom featuring a relaxing roll-top bath, the perfect place to relax after a long day of adventure.
Based in an area of picturesque countryside, this is a dog-friendly haven with so much to see and do. Just 300m from your front door you’ll find the local village of Dacre Banks with a small shop and pub for the days when you wish to remain closer to home.
