Four dogs are welcome to bring two humans to this quirky cabin, set on a working farm 5.5 miles from the bustling market town of Biggar. The perfect base for a romantic getaway in the Southern Uplands, the cabin features an open-plan lounge/kitchen, a spacious king-size bedroom and a separate wetroom.
Surrounded by other similar properties with views of open countryside beyond, the cabin offers a comfortable and spacious environment in which to relax. The lounge/kitchen is a lovely setting for lazy mornings and romantic evening meals surrounded by furry friends, who’ll benefit from the special cushioned, non-slip floors throughout. A spacious king-size bedroom stands nearby and, in turn, a wet room, the perfect area to recharge tired limbs. The private hot tub offers a place to relax before heading to the indoor BBQ area, while the dogs can also burn off some energy in the adjacent exercise field in between making friends with the other animals found on the farm.
Biggar and Lanark (both within 10 miles) are just two of many bustling market towns found across South Lanarkshire, with plenty of independent shops, dog-friendly pubs and cafes scattered around and about. Countless paths and trails dissect the Clyde Valley’s hills, woodland and rivers, offering a chance to explore the local area at your own pace. The majestic surroundings of Pentland Hills Regional Park (18 miles) stretch to Edinburgh, and feature plenty of dog-friendly routes and facilities.
