The traditional fishing village of West Lulworth is postcard-pretty with thatched cottages and former coastguard’s houses; the pebble beach and blue waters of famous Lulworth Cove are around a mile away. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year to the left of the slipway, and children will love exploring its rock pools. The cove and surrounding coastline are part of the world famous Jurassic Coast - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and from the cove you can walk to other famous landmarks, including Stair Hole and Durdle Door. Alternatively, walk along the Hardy Way and spot the iconic Osmington White Horse that was carved into the chalky hillside in 1808.
