Occupying an elevated spot with stunning views across the Brecon Beacons to Pen y Fan, this stylishly updated barn conversion makes a fantastic Mid Wales holiday retreat. Offering cosy, light-filled accommodation for up to four guests, the property also has space for a canine companion to join you for long rural walks with spellbinding scenery. One of a small cluster of beautifully converted farm buildings surrounded by farmland, this charming detached retreat has classic interiors, tasteful furnishings, a welcoming wood burner and a spacious games room.
The hallway features a wooden pew providing a useful space for removing boots and drying muddy paws. The hall leads into the open-plan lounge/diner which has a wood burner, Smart TV, plenty of seating and a lovely dining table, providing an ideal space for everyone to unwind at the end of a memorable day. There’s also a generous kitchen with a characterful farmhouse table. Upstairs, the relaxing games room features a pool table, table football and PlayStation, perfect for younger guests. There are two cheerful en-suite bedrooms, both with wooden beams in sloping ceilings: a delightful twin and a lovely double. Outside, the enclosed raised terrace to the front of the barn has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, perfect for sitting back with your four-legged friend by your side and taking in far-reaching views over the Brecon Beacons.
Set near the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons, the barn is just a couple of miles from Llangorse Lake, a popular destination for water sports, rowing, fishing and long walks in the surrounding countryside with your dog. The cheerful town of Brecon (8 miles) has some fantastic dog-friendly places to eat and drink. Dogs are permitted at attractions including Dinas Castle, Brecon Cathedral, the National Park Visitor Centre and Tretower Court (all within 11 miles).
