Indulge in a group stay at this splendid former farmhouse at Westbury-on-Severn and ensure Rex joins in the fun. Sleeping 12 guests, this pet-friendly, six-bedroom abode is situated on a farm 10 miles from Gloucester. Perfect for two or three dog-loving families or perhaps a special celebration for friends, the impressive retreat has an enclosed, lawned garden for Rex to roam about and a hot tub for everyone else to soak in.
Enter the three-storey holiday home via the hall, where you can leave walking boots and dog leads. Call Rex through to the large lounge to gather with the rest of your party in front of a roaring open fire and the TV or with the French doors open. Take him through to the smaller lounge for some quiet time instead and light the fire in here too. Head through to the kitchen/diner to serve hearty feasts to your family and friends, including Rex. There is also a utility room and a shower room downstairs. Give your contented canine a last stroke before bed then follow the stairs up to the first floor. Here you will find two double bedrooms, plus a single room leading through to a family room, with a double bed and a single and an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom and a separate WC are also at this level. Another double bedroom and a twin are on the floor above. Spill out into the garden to watch the children race about with Rex in the sunshine. Dine together and unwind in the hot tub outside too.
Stroll just 150 metres to the National Trust’s Westbury Court Garden, where Rex is welcome to accompany you. Follow the footpath down to the River Severn’s horseshoe, where you can see the celebrated Severn Bore at certain times.
