With far-reaching views across the marshes and surrounded by glorious walks along the estuary, this is a superb retreat for catching up with families and friends. Explore coast and country on the Essex/Suffolk border, before coming home to a cosy snug, games room and plenty of space for your pups to pad about the property.

Unwind from the moment you step through the front door and into this countryside escape. Find your seat on the comfy sofas in front of the electric wood burner, promising to keep furry paws nice and toasty. Whip up a meal to remember in the stylish grey kitchen, or fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco while kids and pups run around on the enclosed garden. Pour yourself a glass of something bubbly, and settle down in the snug with plenty of games and books to keep your guests entertained for hours. Alternatively, show off your competitive side in the games room, where a snooker table provides hours of laughter. When it’s time to hit the hay, say goodnight to your happy hounds and make your way upstairs to find four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. Sniff out the glorious scent of fresh bakery produce from the Brookelynne Farm Shop, stocked with home-grown ingredients for making filling suppers. Families will love the idea of Frinton-on-Sea’s sandy shores (6 miles). A quiet stretch of coast, this seasonally-restricted beach offers the perfect location for beach games, stick fetching and picnics with the group.

Beautiful open plan property. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Really well equipped. Owners made themselves available when needed and really responsive. We hired the property for a family get together for mums 80th birthday. Owners allowed us to have a party on the Sunday. Just family, owners even provided some decs and Preseco and plenty of bits Read morefor the dogs. Really pet friendly. Would highly recommend. A wonderful property to spend time away in, beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped and with lovely decor. Everything had been thought about to make our holiday a truly delightful one. We had a great few days there and went home relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you.

The house was perfect for what we needed as a family. It was clean and well thought out in terms of space and facilities. The children (and adults) loved the games room. We were aged between 11 - 70 years old with a dog. The garden was secure for our dog and there were some nice local dog walks. What a wonderful spacious family & dog friendly holiday home. Lucy & Rich are fabulous hosts, nothing to much trouble. Well equipped & thought out throughout the whole house. We really enjoyed our stay at Estuary View. Lucy and Rich are great hosts and have really thought about the House as a fun base in the area and provided excellent facilities and entertainment indoors and out. This is a real gem of a property. It was a perfect size for four adults and four children to comfortably spend time and close to a playpark! The location is great for spending time both at the coast and going to location attractions such as Colchester Zoo or Jimmys Farm which our children loved. A great house for 4 adults and 4 kids to use as a base for a couple of nights. Perfectly clean and included everything we needed. Would recommend.
