A quirky shepherd’s hut set on a farm in a quiet spot nestled by the Cornish coastline, a wonderful romantic bolthole for you, your loved one, and your dedicated four-legged friend. Go mutts running through the countryside, find a new leash of life on sandy shores, and spend evenings soaking away in your very own private hot tub.

This open-plan hut is a super cosy retreat, with tasteful décor and furnishings to make your stay feel extra special. The space is all open-plan so you can spend time together cooking in the well equipped kitchen area, eating at the two-seater table, and watching movies curled up on the comfortable sofa. To one end is a bedroom area with king-size bed and a separate Smart TV, as well as an en-suite shower room. Hard floors throughout the hut make it easy to clean up muddy pawprints. Outside you will find a private patio area complete with comfortable seating, BBQ and a fire pit, as well as a bubbling hot tub. Adjacent to the hut is a large field, perfect for dog walking, if they are not too tired out!

Surrounded by luscious countryside, you will be spoilt for choice with walks from the doorstep. Head to the incredible, unspoilt St Nectan’s Glen (4.5 miles), a woodland and waterfall walk that feels like a fantasy land. Take a trip to historic village of Tintagel (5 miles), and visit the magical castle perched on the clifftops, dogs are welcome, too. The mile long Trebarwith Strand Beach (3 miles) has wide stretches of sandy shores, and plenty of rock pools to explore.

We had a lovely break at the start of November. We were due to travel when the storm hit (which we still did) but we were offered to swap our dates by 24 hours, which we thought was very kind. We were completely left alone but the hosts were around if we needed them. We will be back for sure!

Perfect location. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Beautiful scenery. All the utensils and equipment we needed. The added touches makes it feel more personal. For example the folder full of flyers and information. The little cake left for us amongst other things. We loved it. 10/10
