A welcoming country farmhouse set in the beautiful Malvern Hills offers a lovely base for families or a group of friends seeking a peaceful holiday in the unspoiled landscape. This characterful rural retreat is set in a pretty hamlet and sleeps six guests, plus a canine companion. The house has lovely countryside views from the large, sheltered garden and is just 4 miles from the Victorian spa town of Great Malvern. There is a wealth of walks for you and your four-legged friend to enjoy in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A private driveway leads to the secluded property. The large and light-filled living room, which opens onto the garden, is the hub of the house. Pets can curl up by the cosy open fire, while sumptuous chesterfield sofas, pictures and a piano, create a relaxed, homely feel. The stylish contemporary kitchen has a separate, country-style dining area overlooking the garden. Upstairs, there’s a family bathroom and three lovely bedrooms: a king-size four-poster with an en-suite, a double and a twin. The beautiful garden has outside furniture, a BBQ, children’s play equipment and ample space for doggy explorations.

The Malvern Hills are a great destination for walkers and canine heaven for their furry friends, with miles of trails to range at your own pace, from a gentle stroll to energetic hikes. Your pups can romp free in these glorious open spaces but please keep them on a lead if livestock is nearby. Take a stroll around Great Malvern’s elegant streets: a town trail starts by the statue of its most famous son, composer Sir Edward Elgar. Drink the celebrated mineral waters and enjoy a spa day at one of the historic resorts. Dogs are warmly welcomed to explore historic, pet-friendly Eastnor Castle (10 miles) and its gardens.

A great place to stay for a family weekend away with a couple of dogs. Plenty of space in the garden for the dogs to let of steam and the farmhouse was extremely well equiped and offered spacious accomadation for 5 adults. Sitting round the log fire in very comfortable armchairs after dinner on our first night was a perfect way to relax after our jRead moreourney from Kent. The local area is great for walks with the Malvern Hills a highlight. Hide

We visited the property as 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant and 2 dogs, it was perfect, everything we needed was supplied and in good working order. The house itself is a mix of old farmhouse features with modern improvements, huge garden perfect for children and dogs, walk out of the drive directly onto a public footpath into the fields behind, cross-cRead morerossing over a creek. Aside from a walk into the fields we didnt feel the need to venture out or leave the house, it was idyllic. Hide
