This welcoming cottage is a fabulous, year-round getaway for families and small groups, boasting a Mediterranean-style garden for summer games and BBQs, and a wood burner for winter warmth. Not far from Milford Haven, it’s an ideal base for exploring the coast and countryside of Pembrokeshire.

Beautifully decorated with lovely colours and interesting art and accessories, this single-storey holiday escape has been set up to welcome adults, children and furry friends alike. Step in to the open-plan living space, and you’ll appreciate the comfortable leather seating in which you can snuggle up, gathered around the wood burner in the winter months and with a Smart TV. Around the corner, the kitchen/diner will tempt you to linger over your meals, while the utility room has plenty of space for your pups’ food bowls. The double bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom, while the other two (a king-size and a bunk-bed room with an added single) share a family shower room. Step through the glazed doors in the lounge or kitchen and you’ll find yourselves on the covered deck, which in turn leads to a wraparound, gravelled garden. Steps lead up to a further covered area where you can sit and enjoy this lush oasis whatever the weather.

The village of St Ishmael’s is just 3 miles from Dale, where you can sail and try out a variety of water sports - it is, after all, officially the sunniest place in Wales. There are dog-friendly beaches at Sandy Haven, Marloes Sands and St Brides Bay, all within 5 miles, and of course there’s Lindsway Bay less than a mile away, for those happy to climb down the cliff steps. The vibrant marina, shops and places to eat of Milford Haven are only 6.5 miles.

This is a beautiful property, in an ideal location to explore rural Pembrokeshire and its beautiful beaches. A great home, equipped for families with children and grown ups alike, with space for all. We enjoyed a great week at La Cantera, thank you Neil!
