An inviting seaside property set in the sleepy village of Porthtowan on the beautiful North Cornish coastline, this homely hideaway is perfect for all the family – two legs or four. For an unbeatable ball-throwing backdrop, head to the sweeping golden sands of Perranporth Beach where tufty-pawed visitors are welcome year-round with no restrictions. After a day by the sea, stretch soggy paws in the sun-dappled garden while the humans recline with a sparkling aperitif.

This inviting coastal abode features a bright interior with clean lines and spacious social areas. Kick off shoes and hang up leads in the entrance hall then pad through to the light-dappled lounge with bright soft furnishings. Throw open the French doors and bask in the salty summer breeze or cosy up in the chillier months with the electric open fire. Scoop up your pup for some fluffy cuddles while you watch a film on the Smart TV or curl up the armchair with a book. Cook up a storm and pour some tipples in the compact shaker-style kitchen then settle in for a celebratory feast at the wooden dining table. There is also a utility space and wet room for rinsing off sandy outdoor gear. Ascend the staircase to the bedroom on the first floor and choose from a king-size and a twin with sea views as well as a comfortable single. The family bathroom is also located on this floor. Four-legged family members and little ones can run free in the enclosed lawned garden while the adults sip their morning coffee.

During the down season (early October to mid-May) fun-loving pups can feel the wind in their fur as they bound along the breathtaking shores of Porthtowan Beach, 700 metres. While away the hours with a leisurely waterfront lunch at Porthtowan Beach Cafe, 600 metres, where well-behaved owners and their dogs are warmly welcomed then work off lunch with an amble along the rugged South West Coast Path to the tranquil fishing village of Portreath, within 5 miles.

Spacious property which was really dog friendly and a great location for the beach and south west coast path. It is situated on the top of a hill with a steep walk down to the beach. However it is a good path, suitable for buggies and is an easy 10-15 minute walk. Property has everything you need for a great week away and would happily go back agaiRead moren. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and welcoming with plenty of room for 5 adults. Our dogs were comfortable in the utility space overnight. Lovely home which was great for our pets due to the enclosed garden. We sat outside to eat breakfast as it was lovely weather. Also had a barbecue. The view from the front bedrooms was spectacular and we would often view the sunset. Downstairs you also get a view of the sea. There was instructions on how to get to the beach.
