Situated in a peaceful private setting on a large working farm in the glorious Perthshire countryside, this lovely contemporary three-bedroom lodge is the ideal base for families and their canine members to explore the area and all it has to offer. Enjoy tranquil countryside walks straight from the doorstep along quiet country lanes and peaceful bridleways. Climb up King’s Seat for wonderful views across Perthshire. Head to nearby Perth for riverbank rambles along the banks of the River Tay or enjoy a sightseeing cruise with your canine companion at your side.

Your spacious single-storey holiday lodge has a warm and welcoming feel, decorated in neutral tones with wooden tones and co-ordinating soft furnishings. Your hound will never be out of your sight in the spacious open-plan living area where you can rustle up a delicious dinner in the modern kitchen area to share at the centrally positioned dining table. After supper, curl up on the cosy sofas to watch your favourite TV programme while your hound snoozes on the rug. There are two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one super king-size with en-suite shower room and one generous twin, both with wonderful countryside views. There is also a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony as your canine companion explores the mature gardens.

The quiet village of Abernyte is perfectly positioned to explore the countryside and coast of the surrounding area. Sniff out your favourite walk from the doorstep though open fields and heather-clad moorland. Stroll around Dundee’s waterfront (12 miles) stopping for refreshment in one of the dog-friendly bars and cafes. Practise your swing on the golf course with your pup wagging their tale in encouragement – both Strathclyde Golf Centre (14 miles) and Glenisla Golf Course (16 miles) allow your dog to walk their courses as you play a round.

Lovely property with great views and in travelling distance to visit many places around Scotland. The hot tub is great for relaxing and enjoying drinks. Good communication from property owner.

We loved our cottage! We talked to the host before we arrived and gave details of our group and they arranged everything for us. We came with our 3 year old daughter and there was even a step stool and cutlery for her. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped. Absolutely perfect! We enjoyed staying here for a second time. Very relaxing stay. Having the Antique and arts centre on our doorstep is a bonus and we made use of our discount there which was great!

Fantastic property and facilities in a fabulous location. Far enough from the hustle and bustle to afford total tranquility, while close enough to town as to be very convenient. It was so warm and welcoming. The Sands could not be more accommodating and were so helpful when we had a few difficulties. They also (unexpectedly) had the house beautifulRead morely decorated for Christmas. I Would 100% recommend and would definitely make a return there. Thanks again for making our stay amazing. Hide

A lovely place to relax, situated in a great location only short drives required providing the opportunity visit a variety of different places and attractions. The lodge is very spacious and well equipped.

We loved our weekend here! The lodge is spacious and extremely clean. Bedrooms, bathrooms were spacious and of a high standard. In fact, furniture, crockery, bedding, towels were all of a high standard. The highlight for us was the hot tub! There were a few extras provided in the lodge as a welcome which was really appreciated. The location is quieRead moret with a view over the fields towards hills.
