We had a lovely relaxed week at Spark Bridge. the house is really cosy and well equipped. There are some lovely walks from the house and the maps were easy to follow. The nearest pub was shut all week (gas leak???). But the Farmers Arms pub at the top of the hill, only a short walk, was excellent for food, a warm welcome and entertainment.

Compact and amazingly spotlessly clean, cleanest cottage we have ever stayed at! Set in a village with two pubs but they only open Thursday - Saturday / Sunday. But easy drive to Coniston with its numerous eating and drinking options.

Very small. only a two seater sofa which doesn't sit two people comfortably. The bathroom is lovely and spacious. The shower was a bit complicated to work out, and the bath filled up with the water from the shower. Easy accessible to visit other places.
