This quaint terraced house with plenty of character is ideal for a small family and their dog. Set within the sailing town of Cowes, there is so much to do right from the front door, while the cottage itself has everything you should need for a relaxing trip. All family members will find something to entertain them nearby, so picking an activity for any children, dogs or other guests is easy.

Enter straight into the property’s living room. Stylishly decorated, it has its own fireplace where any resident dogs will no doubt spend a lot of time curled up on cooler days. From here, go through to the dining area, which has a table that can fit all four guests. The room has a coastal theme in keeping with the property’s location. From the dining area, you can go to the kitchen, which has everything you should need to make meals for everyone. Upstairs, there is a king-size room, which has been neutrally painted with yet more coastal finishing touches. This floor is also home to the family bathroom, while going up one more floor will find you in the property’s final room – a cosy double bedroom with a handy spare single bed plus a pull-out for truly flexible sleeping arrangements. Outside, the property has a pretty courtyard garden with a BBQ plus outdoor dining furniture.

Cowes is hard to beat in terms of location. It has a fantastic high street – home to many shops and cafes serving fresh food. At the seafront, children will be kept amused with ice cream in the summer. It’s possible to go further afield on the trails and cycle paths from the town, so taking four-pawed guests out on their daily walk is easy with some stunning backdrops.

Lovely pretty cottage in really good location. Very comfy and well equipped for our stay, pet friendly too, which was great for our mini schnauzer. Pretty courtyard to chill out in too.
