In a chocolate-box location in the heart of pretty Dorset sits this lovely cottage, a wonderful place to enjoy a romantic retreat with man’s best friend close by. Happily hosting two guests and one dog, you’ll be eager to pack up your walking boots, tennis balls and plenty of puppy treats to set off and explore the vibrant scenery that surrounds you. After a jam-packed day filled with rewarding walkies, head home to put your feet (and paws) up in this extremely well-presented holiday cottage.
Open-plan living awaits so step inside and make yourselves at home. Any demanding doggo will simply adore having their two masters close at hand when relaxing in the lovely lounge/kitchen/diner. Sink into a cushy sofa with both the electric fire and the Smart TV on, letting Rover curl up and drift off in a cosy little ball by your feet. As your canine companion dreams of wildlife to be chased and adventures to be had, sneak off and find your own snug sleeping spot in the adjacent king-size bedroom. There’s even a secondary Smart TV right here for those lazy mornings of lounging in bed.
Situated on the brink of the Dorset AONB (2 miles) yet close to the Somerset border, you’ll never be short of walking routes and countryside beauty spots to explore close by. Discover the nearby Sutton Bingham Reservoir within easy reach (2 miles), perhaps stopping off at the local farm shop (1 mile) before letting Fido sniff out a waterside route whilst you watch sailors at play. Nearby towns of Yeovil (5 miles) and Sherborne (6 miles) provide lovely, cobbled streets and welcoming local pubs to tour on less strenuous days, a perfect respite for older pups who want to sniff out shorter adventures.
