This lovely property, positioned on the edge of the stunning Georgian village of Charlestown, is ideal for families or friends with up to two pups looking for a relaxing Cornish coastal holiday. Charlestown has a beautifully maintained Grade-II listed harbour full of tall ships. Let your hound lead you through the streets to discover the many eateries and boutique shops in this pretty village.
This is a delightful house, set over two floors, with a contemporary and homely feel. There is plenty of natural light, and the decor includes splashes of bright colours, which bring a vibrant energy to your stay. Leave your coats and cares at the door and head through to the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner, which is a perfect space for catching up with family and friends. Your hounds are sure to find their favourite spot to snooze while you can cosy up on the comfortable sofa or choice of armchairs and watch the Smart TV. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to make meal preparation easy, and you can linger over memorable meals in the dining area. Head upstairs and you'll find two bedrooms - a twin with a Smart TV, and a king-size – and a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC. Step outside to relax in the courtyard with seating to dine alfresco or enjoy a morning coffee. A staircase leads to an enclosed lawned area with seating, where your children and the pups can play.
For a day away from the crowds, head to the sand at Porthluney Bay (12 miles), where four-legged friends are welcome to leave paw prints all year round while you build some sandcastles and enjoy the sunshine. You must visit the nearby Lost Gardens of Heligan (7 miles), where your pup will ask to stay on the lead, and the Eden Project (3 miles), where your hounds can sniff out adventure on the many trails. For a day of culture, spend the day at historic Caerhays Castle and Gardens (10.5 miles).
