Be it a family celebration or a getaway with your friends and your dogs, this holiday home suits all occasions with its quirky social spaces and luxuries such as the bubbling hot tub. Located in a peaceful village with a dog-friendly pub, there is an abundance of walking trails right on your doorstep to explore before stopping off for a bite to eat on a day spent close to home.

The open-plan living room/diner is the heart of this home with characterful vaulted ceilings, interesting light fixtures, a Smart TV and an enormous corner sofa looking out towards the garden ensuring there’s space for everyone. On the opposite end of the room, with exposed bricks along one wall, is the dining area with seating for eight where you can tuck into fine foods and catch up with one another. In the kitchen, the pops of colour bring the space to life where you can get creative with your cooking and whip up a feast for all your guests, whilst the sunroom is a place to sit back and relax with your four-legged friend by your side. The first two bedrooms are elegant king-size rooms, thoughtfully decorated and boasting doors directly out into the garden. In addition, there is another king-size bedroom with built-in furniture, an en-suite shower room and a playful bunk room which children will love. Completing the property is the family bathroom.

Immerse yourself in city life with a day in York (13 miles) where there is an abundance of dog-friendly cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops to explore. Why not hop aboard a boat to glide along the River Ouse for a trip with your pup, or wander through the interesting lanes of The Shambles as you explore the city? Visit Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve for a walk through the natural beauty of this area spanning 270 hectares – there are gentle flat footpaths here for a leisurely stroll at all times of the year.

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had a lovely stay in this house. It has everything you need for a relaxing break and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The only thing. I would say is the back garden isnt secure. Both of our dogs escaped into the houses each side of us. The road out front is quite busy which was a cause for concern if they were able to get out of the neighboursRead more garden. The neighbours to the right said this is an ongoing issue and that the owners two dogs get into their garden quite often.Quite disappointed Hide

A great house for a family holiday. Fab covered hot tub so we could even go in when it was raining. Lots of comfy seating. 30 minutes drive from lots of family friendly days out.

Amazing stay. Perfect property for a girlie getaway, in a beautiful location. Penny and her husband were great and welcomed. Hot tub was a lovely addition. Very decent price. Cant fault it.

This is a superb property for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The decor is fabulous with no expense spared . Everything you need is provided for perfect self catering. We spent lots of time in the cosy and warm conservatory with underfloor heating. The hot tub is the icing on the cake and towelling robes and slippers for all 8 of us a bonus too. The Read morelocation is lovely looking out onto the garden and countryside. The welcome pack and Prosecco was a thoughtful touch by the wonderful hosts. Thank you Hide
