After a day on the beach with your two hounds, unwind in this country-style cottage situated in the pretty village of Mundesley. With a path leading straight from the door to the beach, it’s an ideal home-from-home for a family or group of friends wanting easy access to the seaside and all the local amenities.

A sense of comfort sweeps through the ground floor with its exposed beams, soft furnishings and neutral tones. After a day on the beach, step through the rear door and brush the sand from feet and paws in the utility room before padding through to the spacious kitchen. Equipped with modern appliances, rustle up a hearty meal then serve it at the six-seater table or for more formal occasions, eat in the separate dining room. While you enjoy a delicious meal, the pups can roam through to the lounge and stretch out in front of the wood burner. Afterwards, join them in the lounge or catch up on some work in the handy office. There’s also a conservatory where you can take it easy with a good book and nightcap. When it’s time for bed, your canine companions can settle down in the boot room while you head upstairs and choose between a super-king-size, king-size, and twin bedroom. In the morning, head outside and let your pup sniff out new scents on the enclosed lawn or enjoy an al fresco breakfast on the patio.

From the rear garden, you can access a path down to Mundesley Beach (450 metres). This beach is a good spot for a swim and your pack will love scampering along the sandy shore (although dogs must be kept on a lead from May to September). Afterwards, stop for a bite-to-eat at one of the dog-friendly pubs or cafes. Further afield, hire a boat in Stalham (10 miles) or Wroxham (15 miles) and explore the beautiful Norfolk Broads with your well-behaved hounds.

Fantastic house and location, one of the best places we have stayed at. Lovely warm home with great features. Excellent location close to the park and sea and easy to get to other resorts. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to come back in the future.

This was honestly one of the best, if not the best holiday rental we've ever had. The cottage has so much charm with original features and such comfortable beds and furnishings it really was a home from home (but better!). For those with dogs needing a proper secure garden, this property has not one but two outdoor spaces secure with high walls andRead more strong gates. A really lovely cottage, very well equipped, warm and comfortable as well as very clean. The enclosed garden is ideal for dogs, as is the location close to the beach. The village shops and The Ship Inn are also a short walk away. The best holiday cottage we have stayed in!

Cowper cottage was very comfortable, clean and warm. We had a lovely relaxing week. It was close to the beach and shops. The boot room was great for cleaning off sandy paws and boots and the garden fully enclosed for dogs. Anyone staying over the winter months I would recommend Horsey Gap to see the seals and their pups. It was amazing.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Everything was perfect and the whole family loved it. The village of Mundesley is perfect for a short break. Will definitely return if they have back that is.

Very nice property in great location. Its very well equipped. Large comfortable beds with good quality bed linen. Towels in holiday homes can be poor but not here they were large and fluffy. Parking for three cars are the rear of the property is useful.

Cowper Cottage was a total delight. Spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished, it was everything we could want and more. It has clearly been renovated with great attention to detail, and everything is top quality. It is one of the very best holiday homes we've stayed in, and we fully intend booking again next year.
