Let your pups run free on the long, golden sands of Oxwich Bay – just minutes from this modern property. Beach bums, sandcastle-builders and water sports enthusiasts of all ages will love this location, and the bright, cheerful chalet makes a comfortable base for couples and families, with a swish interior and secure outside space, too.
Slide back the glass doors and enter the open-plan bungalow, straight into the lounge/diner with its comfortable seating, TV and foldaway table and chairs. The compact kitchen is super stylish and thoughtfully designed to provide ample storage and worktop space, making holiday cooking a breeze. There’s versatile sleeping accommodation for four – a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom that consists of a single bed above a double – and the bedrooms share a lovely shower room. At the side and back of the bungalow are lawned areas, while at the front is an enclosed patio, perfect for happy hounds to sniff around and chase their tails, while their humans enjoy a drink or a meal in the sunshine and fresh air.
Set in the grounds of Bayview Oxwich Leisure Park, the chalet is just 0.5 miles from dog-friendly Oxwich Bay, with more than 2 miles of golden sands backed by dunes with access to woodland walks and the Gower Coastal Path. There’s plenty of room for everyone here, even in the summer months, whether you want to sit in the sun or try some water sports. If you feel like a change of scene, however, Three Cliffs Bay is just 4 miles away, fabulously photogenic and a great place for a picnic (though beware of strong currents in the water), or you could take a walk to one of Wales’ most famous prehistoric monuments, King Arthur’s Stone on Cefyn Bryn Common, 4 miles.
