From the lounge, patio doors open onto the impressive, decked space which offers spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. This is an ideal space to sit out on a lazy summer’s afternoon and enjoy a BBQ. The garden features a long, sloping lawn with space for your pet to run about and for you to watch the red squirrels.
The cottage is ideally situated with both Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwentwater within a couple of miles, offering some wonderful walks for your dog to take you on. The centre of the thriving town of Keswick is just 2.5 miles away, with plenty of great dog-friendly places to eat and drink, with pets welcome at attractions including the Derwent Pencil Museum, Hope Park and the Puzzling Place. Dogs are also welcome to help you explore Whinlatter Forest (7 miles), the grounds at Mirehouse and Gardens (2.5 miles) and Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum (6.5 miles).
