Situated in the heart of Cornwall, glorious countryside and spectacular beaches are never far away. Take a stroll to the beautiful Lanhydrock Estate (0.7 miles), an elegant 19th-century stately home surrounded by scenic parkland crisscrossed by walking and biking trails. The wooded grounds below the estate’s formal gardens and house are a haven for dog walkers, and well-behaved pups are welcome inside the tea room and cafe, where you'll find drinking bowls and dog biscuits awaiting Rover’s arrival. For walkies to really get tails wagging, the wilds of Bodmin Moor begin 7 miles from home, where you and your four-pawed pals can roam the rugged highlands and take in the dramatic scenery with plenty of interesting sights, sounds and smells to investigate along the way. For pets that enjoy the feeling of sand between their toes, Par Sands should not be missed. This huge expanse of golden sand lies 8.5 miles to the south and is very popular with faithful friends and their owners, offering year–round unrestricted doggie access.
