This lovingly converted single-storey farm building for two is designed with relaxation in mind. Situated in the quiet village of Greetland, the property is well served with a long list of pubs, shops and restaurants, as well as plenty of glorious hikes for you and your canine companion.

Wander into this delightful property to find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where soothing, neutral tones encourage you to put your feet up and snuggle with your loved ones. Whip up romantic dinners for your beau in the kitchen, and clink glasses to your getaway at the stylish breakfast bar. Wash off the day in the spacious walk-in shower, before climbing into the king-size bed. In the morning, head out into the lovely courtyard. Soak up the gorgeous country views while your precious pooch sniffs out the perfect spot to do their morning stretches.

Clip on the lead and relish walkies on The Calderdale Way. Covering 50 miles, this superb pathway makes its way through craggy hills, rugged moors and dramatic valleys with breathtaking views and many photo opportunities. Alternatively, make your way along the 3-mile drive into Halifax to meander through cobbled streets and browse independent shops. Fill hungry tummies in one of the many dog-friendly restaurants here, and don’t forget to try the counties famous Yorkshire pudding.

This is a lovely cottage for two, well located with walks from the door onto the Calderdale Way and other paths. There is a bus service close by and a pub serving nice food. The lodge is small but comfy, well equipped & a good base. Need to drive to buy food but pubs serving food not far. TV only has terrestrial channels but for streaming we had a laptop with an HDMI cable, plugged into TV. Internet was somewhat slow. It would be good to have a coat stand since it rained all week. The cottage is very conveniently situated just outside Halifax. We were there for six nights with the main objective attending three music events in Saddleworth, Huddersfield and Leeds. We spent the remaining time visiting Piece Hall in Halifax (spectacular), Shibden Hall just outside Halifax ( beautiful and very interesting) and Skipton (pretty toRead morewn and great castle). The cottage was really lovely, newly decorated. well furnished and clean. Bed very comfy and shower worked well. Wifi is good enough. The kitchen was fully kitted out if you wanted to cook. The area is busy, but interesting and you can walk into Halifax from the cottage. We also walked from the cottage along the canal to Brighouse, and found the toRead morewn to be lovely. There wasnt a wood burner! Amazing!! Wood burners cause tiny particles of soot, eco friendly ones are just as bad, which get into the blood and cause cancers. So it was fantastic there wasnt one! Thank you. There is a lot of road noise though but it didnt bother us as the pluses outweigh this irritation. Easy to get to Shibden Hall, Piece Hall and Read moreHebden Bridge.
