On the ground floor are the two bedrooms - a king-size with a TV, and a twin - both with access to the Jack and Jill en-suite WC. Upstairs is a welcoming open-plan lounge/diner where your hounds are bound to go and bag the best spots - perhaps curled up by the wood burner on chilly nights. Put your feet up, relax and read or enjoy watching your favourite programmes on the TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook up a storm or prepare snacks to eat while you laze by the shared pool. The bathroom is off the dining area on the first floor. Outside is a garden with a patio area, BBQ and garden furniture – the perfect spot to dine alfresco and take in the picturesque rolling countryside views. Polruan, a 2-mile walk away, offers pubs for you to tuck into a Cornish lunch while overlooking the pretty harbour. Here you can catch the passenger ferry and venture across to Fowey, famous for its sailing culture, quaint streets full of boutique shops, restaurants and gorgeous estuary setting. Further afield are the Eden Project (13 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (21.5 miles), both of which are sure to set tails wagging, or take the children for a fun day at Kidzworld Adventure Play (10.5 miles).
