This stylish holiday home enjoys a peaceful location surrounded by open countryside yet is just 2 miles from the bustling market town of Blairgowrie. The property sleeps six guests, and suits both larger families and groups of friends. The cottage’s outdoor area is fully enclosed, making it perfect for your four-legged pal. Just 18 miles away is Cairngorms National Park with its vast network of walking trails and outdoor adventure activities.

The bungalow has vibrant decor, creating a fun and homely atmosphere throughout the property. Kick off your muddy walking boots in the hallway, and head into the cosy lounge, where a roaring wood burner ensures a warm welcome, whatever the season. Sink into the comfortable sofas to read a book or watch the Smart TV, with your canine companion curled at your feet. The stylish kitchen/diner is a joy to cook in, with everything you need to rustle up a hearty feast and a dining table to seat everyone. The bungalow has three light and bright bedrooms – two king-size rooms and one twin – and a spacious family bathroom. The enclosed garden is predominantly laid to lawn, meaning there’s plenty of space for Rover to burn off energy. You’ll also find a seating area and BBQ for al fresco dining.

The historic market town of Blairgowrie has a great range of cafes and restaurants, many of which welcome furry diners, as well as some excellent independent shops. The River Ericht passes through the town, providing both dog-walking and fishing opportunities. Blairgowrie is also the main starting point for the 60-mile Cateran Trail, which follows the region’s historic drove roads. Heading north, you’ll soon reach Cairngorms National Park, where Fido can lead the way along exhilarating mountain tracks and serene loch-side trails.
