Sleeping 10 guests, the five-bedroom, farmhouse nestles in beautiful gardens on a working farm, 1 mile from the charming Welsh Georgian town and close to footpaths through the Black Mountains. Accessed along a gated lane it enjoys spectacular views, it could suit a dog-loving extended family group or party of friends eager to spend time in the magnificent national park.

Call your four-legged friend into this airy period home that combines elegance and character with modern day comfort. Take him through to the kitchen/diner to feed him and make yourself a cup of fresh coffee. Open the doors on to the garden on sunny days, fire up the wood burner if it’s chilly and lay the table for everyone to gather round. Spread out into the lounge to warm yourselves beside the wood burner while you watch the Smart TV or play games. Also downstairs, are a family shower room and a boot room. Head up to the first floor to the comfortable double bedroom or one of the four sumptuous, king-sizes. Excellent is the word i would use to describe this property. very well equipped for a group of friends. We had a fabulous few days here. Plenty of walking routes direct from the house, so no need to drive. 20mins to town and pubs or tap house. The Wern is a beautiful property surrounded by wonderful views. We were a family group ranging in age from 14 to 80 and it suited us all perfectly. We could walk into Crickhowell and enjoy the shops and cafes there and there are lovely walks from the cottage for the more energetic! This fabulous and confortable house was perfect for our stay. We were also taken aback by its location absolutly stunning. Fantastic views with sheep and lambs in the fields near the house, and although it's uphill and about 1 mile from Crickhowell walking to town and back was easy and pleasant. Outstanding views from every windo. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped for cooking. Huge wrap around garden which our dogs absolutely loved. Plenty of space for the whole family. Crickhowell is a beautiful place with lovely cafes, butchers, bakery and shops. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, fabulous!

Our stay at this cottage was the perfect family getaway to celebrate our Dads 70th. The views around the property are idyllic and the photos just dont do it justice. The surrounding area is beautiful, so much to do. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay here. Worth every penny for a weekend full of wonderful memories. Thank you!

We were party of 9 with teenage children, grandparents and two dogs. The Wern cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. We all had lovely stay. The instructions to the cottage were easy to follow and we were between 45 - 60 minutes of where we wanted to visit, so the location was great. We would highly recommend it.

Wern farm is a great property with a fantastic view in a beautiful and quiet location. Our whole family had a really wonderful stay at The Wern. It has been beautifully restored and is very well equipped and comfortable. The location is stunning with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and walks galore in every direction. We had wonderful walks around Talybont Reservoir, Keeper's Pond and moorland, Four Falls waterfallRead mores and of course up Table Mountain.
