Enjoy a unique stay in this converted piggery which retains many of its original features with modern updates to create a charming home-from-home for couples or small families. During your stay, explore the local beaches with your canine companion in tow, wander the South West Coast Path and soak up the tranquillity of this part of Devon.

Embracing open-plan living, the lounge/kitchen diner is a great space with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner – with a spot for your four-pawed pal to cosy up by the fire! The kitchen and dining area has all you could need to cook up meals which can be served on the breakfast bar. A WC is conveniently located downstairs too. Upstairs, the first of the bedrooms is a spacious king-size with exposed ceiling beams and a wooden floor creating a rustic feel. The second bedroom is a single room with an additional pull-out trundle bed. Finally, there is a family bathroom featuring both a bath and a shower cubicle. Heading outside, there is a shared garden patio area with seating for al fresco dining. In addition, the BBQ and pizza oven are great for summer evenings and there is space for dogs to stretch their legs, as well as an outdoor play area and a table tennis table for kids.

From the quiet, countryside location of Galmpton, you can head off to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by joining the South West Coast Path from the doorstep - a great option for long walks with your pup in tow. Head to Hope Cove (1 mile) or Salcombe (4 miles) to explore these quaint fishing villages, offering up an array of eateries specialising in freshly caught fish and some gorgeous spots to stop off and sip coffee or dine out with a picnic.

  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Cottage was lovely, well equipped, plenty of walking areas, our dog enjoyed his break away! Plenty to see & do lovely area very scenic

A brilliant place to unwind and relax. This is our second stay and it was wonderful. The facilities and accommodation are brilliant. The Piggery is perfect for a couple and ideal for our four legged friend as well. Wonderful for coastal and beach walks and excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.

Very well appointed cottage in beautiful location. We were blessed with beautiful weather. The shared gated courtyard was lovey to sit out and safe for our dog.

Lots of positives - spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, endless hot water and very easy parking. Unfortunately it wasn't the right place for us, though - with two adults, a teenager and a dog, the living space was just too small and smaller than we had realised from the photos. The second bedroom is also tiny and my daughter couldn't even fit her sRead moreuitcase in there. Would be a great place for a couple to stay. Close to South Milton Beach and lots of lovely coastal walks. Hide
