What could be nicer than a run along wide, golden sands, or a dip in salty seawater? You can be at dog-friendly Beadnell Bay beach in a couple of minutes from this stunning holiday cottage. Ideal for couples or families, it has an enclosed garden for al fresco dining and a wood burner for cosy evenings indoors.
Comfort and convenience combine in this stylish property, a detached bungalow in a tranquil location. There’s room for coats, boots and leads in the spacious hallway from which you can head into the open-plan living space. Preparing food is easy in the well-equipped kitchen area, and there’s a choice of either a breakfast bar for two or a dining table for snacks and meals. Taking up the far end of the room is the lounge area, with sofas around a Smart TV and a contemporary wood burner. The two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin (the latter with a trundle bed for an additional child), are off the hallway, sharing a shower room. Bring the outside in by opening the doors to the garden, a great place for your pup to chase his tail, and why not take a meal on the patio, warmed by the fire pit as you watch the stars come out?
Beadnell Bay is a sandy beach where you can try out a variety of water sports as well as swim and build sandcastles. Stroll along the coastal path to Low Newton, 4 miles, and its friendly beachside pub. Head in the opposite direction and you’ll reach the coastal villages of Seahouses, 2 miles, and Bamburgh, 5 miles, where you and your canine companion can explore the castle grounds. Or drive to historic Wooler with its bustling high street, then head into the beautiful landscape of Northumberland’s National Park.
