The enclosed garden, play area for children and the hot tab are fantastic. Plenty of hot water and a cosy house. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

We all enjoyed staying here. Lovely, spacious but cosy house. Well equipped kitchen. Nice big enclosed garden, safe for kids and dogs. Lovely large lounge. Good hot and powerful showers. There were a few games provided to keep us occupied which was a nice touch and the tea and biscuits!

Last minute January holiday to walk the stunning coastline and relax in front of a wood burning stove in the evening. We were really comfortable at Christon House and its conveniently situated to explore Northumberland. Great location,close to all costal areas.Only 15mins from Alnwick and supermarkets.Great beaches nearby.Hot tub great asset.Large house plenty of room for 7of us.

Arrived to find the property fairly clean. Unfortunately it seems it needs a paint refresh in many places which makes it seem unclean in places. The wheelie bins were full to the brim which was disappointing especially after I received a text asking if all ok and when I responded I didnt hear back after asking where to leave our rubbish. Generally Read morea good place. Location good for car exploring but not ideal to walk from/to. Shame that the fridge was very small and the lack of kitchen equipment Hide

This is a lovely house fitted out to a high spec. We were very comfortable here and it is well situated within the Northumbrian coastline. The hot tub was a welcome extra after a days walking. The garden is lovely and private and very safe for dogs. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here

Us 7 adults, 1 toddler and 3 dogs had a great time at Chrisdon House. It was well placed for all the attractions we wanted to visit and was very clean. The dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer were very handy and it was great to have large TVS in both the reception rooms (and 3 of the bedrooms), The hot tub was used a few times (we all had Read morecolds!). We had a lovely break in this very comfortable, well appointed property. Highlights were the fabulous large hot tub which was all ready for us on arrival, the spacious and comfy lounge with huge TV, and the generous king-size/super king beds which our family appreciated. The property is very comfortable with quality furnishings and fittings. It is on the whole very clean and well maintained as is the garden and hot tub. Christon Bank provides the ideal base to explore Northumberland and there are so many beautiful places to visit a short drive away.

Lovely property but a little tired in some areas that need rectifying to bring it up to 100% standard Very peaceful although pigeons are nesting in the climbing hydrangea outside the bedroom window which woke us up early. Had to have the windows open as the central heating would come on at odd times and it became stifling in the rooms . This is a very well presented home with excellent facilities. The garden is large and was very much enjoyed by our dogs. The hot tub was put to good use by the younger family members even in January! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great holiday accommodation, highly recommend this house, so relaxing. We loved the fact we could take our dogs, who made the most of the secure garden. Hot tub & log burner were great.

The house has been done up to a very high standard, was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The hot tub was a real bonus and the good size garden was perfect and secure for our 2 small dogs. Plenty of space in the house for 8 adults although upstairs shower room is a bit on the small size. Our 3 generation family and 3 dogs stayed here for a week and the house is beautiful. Very spacious and clean and reasonably well equipped. The garden is fully secure, which for children and dogs is ideal. Brand new play equipment for children and brilliant hot tub with lighting and Bluetooth! We had a week here - multi generational group of 6. The house is spacious and reasonably functional. The children enjoyed the play equipment in the garden. The hot tub was a bonus. There are minimal amenities in Christon Bank - no shop or cafe/restaurant. Small stores for essentials in Embleton, a drive away. Sainsburys do deliver. This is a lovely, bright & clean property in a great place to visit the area. The village is quiet and it has a very peaceful vibe. It does lack a BBQ.
