Located on the outskirts of Toddington, this cute and cosy shepherd’s hut makes a delightful couple’s bolthole. Fun, quirky and romantic, it’s located just 200 metres from the heritage railway line connecting Broadway to Cheltenham, while overlooking idyllic Cotswolds countryside. Best of all, you’re welcome to bring one beloved pup with you to share the fun.
Set aside from the main house, this charming shepherd’s hut is accessed via a pathway and has a private outdoor patio to the front. As you step up into the hut, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the thoughtful use of space, and instantly warmed by its cosy ambience. Dual-aspect windows offer plenty of natural light and lovely country views. Snuggle up on the couch after walkies, gazing out over the countryside or watching the Smart TV. Prepare delicious breakfasts and simple suppers in the little corner kitchen or fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on sunny days. Get a restful night’s sleep on the double bed while Fido stretches out in front of the little storage heater, and enjoy a rejuvenating shower in the morning ready for a new leash of life.
There are plenty of adventures right on your doorstep. Your well-behaved dog is welcome to join you for a ride on the heritage railway, or you can strike out on foot to walk part of the 102-mile Cotswold Way trail. Admire traditional Cotswold architecture, wander along the river and browse independent boutiques in the charming town of Winchcombe (4 miles) or visit the quintessential Cotswolds settlements of Burton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold (both 11 miles).
