Treat yourself to a holiday in this quaint lodge in the New Forest. It’s situated within a complex of similar properties in a park so you can organise a trip with friends and your extended family - or you can just take your partner, kids and dog. There’s plenty to do in the park and the surrounding area, so it’s great for a busy getaway full of adventures.
The social space of the lodge is open-plan and incorporates a kitchen, dining area and lounge. At one end, you’ll see patio doors which fill the room with natural light so you can soak in as much sun as possible. There are two bedrooms, one twin and a king-size. They’re both beautifully decorated and great for a good night’s sleep. The king-size bedroom has access to an en-suite bathroom with a deep bath for long and soothing soaks, while the twin has the use of the family shower room. The park has plenty of outdoor space to explore, and you’ll have a private patio with a seating area for morning coffees, board games or curling up with a good book.
There are lots of park facilities to enjoy, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a hot tub, golf (regular and crazy), archery, table tennis and a woodland course. If you’d like to venture further out, visit the dog-friendly Hengistbury Head Beach (7 miles), or take in some history at Hurst Castle (6 miles). You’ll be conveniently close to Bournemouth (12.5 miles) for a busy day out. Alternatively, amble through the flora of Blackwater Arboretum (9 miles) to find plenty of new trees to sniff.
