Take up to two furry friends with you on your family holiday to this three-bed barn conversion in the quaint Suffolk village of Knodishall. Working equally well for a group of friends or family break you can easily explore the beautiful Heritage Coast of Suffolk from here. Venturing inland, there are charming market towns such as Saxmundham (4.5 miles), Framlingham (12.5 miles) and Wickham Market (11 miles).

Renovated in 2022, this Grade II-listed barn conversion offers stylish open-plan living complemented by rustic features and all mod cons. The entrance hall has useful storage for shoes, coats and towels for damp paws. The open-plan kitchen/diner with its exposed wood beams will inspire you to create a culinary masterpiece in the contemporary kitchen before dining around the table seating six. There’s even a two-seater sofa for chatting to the chef as well as French doors leading outside. Four-legged guests will love the cool hard flooring downstairs in summer and in winter the cosy wood burner in the inviting lounge with comfortable sofas. Sleeping accommodation is flexible with one king-size bedroom, one twin that could be configured as a king-size and one single bedroom, all offering generous, calming spaces for a restful night. We had a lovely stay at The Smithy. It really is a home from home, and so quiet and comfy we didnt want to leave! Lovely location close to all of our favourite places to visit on the coast. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Excellent accomodation to a high standard. Great Location for exploring the East Sussex coast. Cottage was more than suitabally equipped in all aspects of ones holiday needs . Cottage was cleaned to a high standard Very comfotable stay - I would highly recommend this property definately a 4-5 Star rating

We had a great time at The Smithy. The cottage is really well set up and provided everything we could possibly have needed for our stay. The property is will situated for exploring the Suffolk coast and only minutes away from excellent fish and chips in Aldeburgh!

The Smithy is a beautifully presented cottage with good quality furniture and equipment throughout. A very comfortable base to explore the area, with much to see and do in close proximity. Aldeburgh was lovely, but we made a number of trips to Thorpeness - a unique place , which allows dogs to enjoy the pebble beach on a large section of the coast.Read more Hide

Very relaxing place to stay and house was spotless. Kitchen was well equipped everything you need for a lovely break away . There was a problem with the TV however this was sorted straight away . We will definitely be coming again .
