Escape to this recently renovated cottage on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, perfectly positioned to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Ideal for families, couples and a four-legged friend, this haven offers stunning countryside views and plenty of rural charm with its exposed wooden beams and crackling wood burner.

Step into the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a sociable space with comfortable seating, a small but perfectly formed kitchen, and a wood burner that’s sure to be a hit with the hound. The first bedroom is found on this floor, and offers a double bed, as well as easy access to the stylish family bathroom which completes the ground floor. Ascend to the top floor to find the second bedroom tucked under the eaves of the roof, offering a super-king zip-and-link bed, large windows, and a picturesque view of the countryside. Outside, revel in a large garden with a lush lawn for a game of fetch, and discover a secluded seating area at the top with a fire pit and BBQ - the perfect spot for al fresco meals or stargazing.

For walks to get tails wagging, you’ll discover delightful footpaths right at your doorstep, with the dog-friendly village pub just under 2 miles away. Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of Dartmoor National Park with Rover by your side, renowned for its dramatic scenery, tors, and charming market towns such as Tavistock (5 miles). Explore the enchanting coastline with its historic harbours and beaches, including the sweeping sands of Whitsand Bay (22 miles), with most beaches welcoming playful pups to run and play year-round. Alternatively, stride out along the South West Coast Path, with many interesting sights, sounds and smells to keep canine companions busy along the way.
