To the left of the lounge, you’ll find a generously sized shower room and on the right of the living space, take a shallow step up and into the large bedroom, which also boasts incredible views of the River Avon. The enclosed garden is a great spot for dogs to enjoy sunning themselves, whilst you can sit back with drink in hand and BBQ simmering and while away hours, witnessing the comings and goings along the river. The property also boasts its own jetty, accessed via the owner’s garden, to be used at your leisure.

Enjoy fishing directly from your doorstep via the owner’s private jetty, or rent a kayak and mooch down the River Avon at your leisure; Rover and Fido are sure to enjoy a doggie paddle too! Fordingbridge itself boasts many dog-friendly establishments, including pubs and cafes offering delicious locally fayre. The seaside town of Lymington is 22 miles away; grab a bag of fish and chips on the famous Lymington Pier and drop anchor along one of its three marinas to witness elegant yachts steer into sight. The city of Salisbury sits just 10 miles away with its 123m-high cathedral spire looming over a medieval network of streets, it is ripe for exploring with two legs or four, or head a few miles out of the city to legendary Stonehenge.
