Hunker down at this cosy romantic bolthole away from the busyness of everyday life. Enjoy a slice of tranquillity on the edge of the Hartland Heritage Coast with your loyal companion and partner by your side. After blowing away the cobwebs on a long tail-wagging walk by the sea, head back to your tiny shepherd's hut and let the bubbles inside the hot tub loosen your shoulders.
Climb three steps to enter the shepherd’s hut where you’ll find a perfectly laid out living/sleeping area with a wood burner for warming cold paws and feet on chilly nights. Switch on the TV and watch your favourite programs with a glass of wine. Retire to the king-size bed at the far end of the hut. The kitchen is simple and compact but has everything you need to cook a meal for two. Completing the inside is an en-suite bathroom. Outside, you’ll find the steaming hot tub and some outdoor seating with a BBQ in the enclosed garden, which is shared with neighbouring properties.
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the Cornish coast, there is an abundance of scenic walking routes and idyllic beaches nearby. The hamlet of Gooseham is where you’ll be staying, which is a quiet and rural area. Bude is the nearest town (10 miles) and is home to an array of quaint cafes, dog-friendly pubs and restaurants. The unspoilt National Trust beaches of Duckpool (4 miles) and Sandymouth (6 miles) are a hit with the hounds and they’re both dog friendly all year round.
