When you’re in need of peace and quiet, head to the snug and lose yourself in a good book before rejoining the family in the open-plan kitchen/diner. Filled with natural light from the bi-fold doors, the kitchen/diner is a fantastic social space with a contemporary kitchen area and a chic table seating eight for family mealtimes. The bedrooms can all be found on the first floor, along with the family bathroom, starting with the king-size master bedroom which benefits from both an en-suite bathroom and a Juliet balcony. In addition, there is a second king-size bedroom with a fresh style and a twin which is well suited to children. The final room is a king-size zip-and-link bed, offering the option to be made up as a twin to ensure a versatile space. Through the bi-fold doors, you’ll find a pretty, enclosed garden providing plenty of space for pups to stretch their legs and a set of furniture for outdoor dining.
Penrith (5 miles) is a social hub with plenty to see and do for those on four legs as well as two, including the historic Penrith Castle and Penrith Beacon Monument, both of which offer gentle strolls. A day out to Aira Force Waterfall (16 miles) is a must whilst staying locally to experience the 65ft drop tucked away in a majestic woodland with plenty of sticks to fetch. Alternatively, climb the mighty heights of Helvellyn, the Lake District’s third-highest fell, whilst challenging, the views along the many trails are endlessly rewarding, especially with your four-legged friend by your side.
