We stayed here and used it as a base to walk St Cuthberts Way . The owner ensured we had all we needed. There were welcome gifts for us including a home made cake . The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding . Plenty of hot water too . We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after walking all day .

I can't recommend Whitehouse Country House enough - it's a gorgeous escape to the countryside that is spacious yet cosy and has the most incredible views. With kind and hospitable hosts and a fantastic location, this was the ideal break for our group. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely host another event here in the future!

Large cottage, plenty of space for the 10 of us. Different parts of the group could have independence or we could all sit around the large tables. Beautiful setting, lovely views, friendly owners. Well situated for the border towns and villages. We found something different each day satisfying a multi generational family.
