Set within a quaint old commercial yard, this is a fantastic holiday retreat for a small group of friends (and a beloved dog!), looking for a spot from which to explore the wider area. The interior is warm and welcoming with plenty of charming features such as a wood burner which any dog guests will enjoy curling up next to. Plus, the charming patio in the yard provides an oasis of calm in the middle of a town, while also being somewhere convenient to let a dog out during the day.
The cottage is one of three similar properties within the same commercial yard. Up a flight of external steps, guests enter into the property’s snug with that wood burner and cosy seating area. From there, a larger lounge has comfy seating for watching the Smart TV. In the corner, is the property’s dining area which has oak seating and a table for any meals inside. It’s near the stylish kitchen which has everything a guest should need to rustle up delicious food as and when needed. Up a set of winding stairs, guests will find both bedrooms on the first floor. They both have super-king-size beds, while the master suite has its own en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has the use of the family bathroom along the hall.
Set within the market town of Sedbergh, all guests – including four-legged ones – will find it a hard to beat location. It’s easy to head out for explorations on the Yorkshire Dales or in the Lake District, while Sedbergh itself has plenty of shops, and eateries to enjoy. Importantly, there are dog-friendly pubs which will welcome canine companions with many treats, making them feel just as at home as their owners.
