Just a ball’s throw from Fistral Beach, this light and airy holiday home is among a small complex of high-end apartments enjoying amazing Atlantic Ocean views. Head up a flight of stairs and step into your coastal-themed open-plan living space, with sea views, a sofa bed, Smart TV and a door to the balcony. At the opposite end, the kitchen has everything you’ll need for a fuss-free self-catered stay; enjoy laid-back dining and drinks at the breakfast bar as you discuss the day and plan your next adventures. Leading off from the hallway, your king-size bedroom has its own TV/DVD and, as it’s also sea-facing, with a further set of patio doors onto the balcony. Completing the creature comforts is a modern bathroom; start your day with a shower then enjoy a morning cuppa on the fabulous glass-fronted balcony where you can check out the weather before setting off for walkies. Guests also have access to a shared lawn area at the front of the building.

Newquay is one of the most dog-friendly spots in Cornwall, boasting magnificent beaches and fabulous cafes, pubs and restaurants which welcome four-legged friends all year round. Just across the road from your holiday apartment, Fistral Beach is one of the most famous surfing locations on the UK mainland. At low tide, the beach is vast and sandy and it’s open to dogs all year round. If your pup would prefer sand-free paws, take a walk around the Pentire Headland – the ocean views are panoramic and always dramatic. For fun further afield, enjoy chugging through the Cornish countryside on a steam train at Lappa Valley, 6 miles inland. Dogs are welcome on board and this 35-acre site includes a large field where they can run off-lead. Salty sea dogs are also welcome on board the boat trips run by the Newquay Sea Safaris company; water and dog biscuits will keep Rover happy while you watch for seals and dolphins.

The views from this second floor flat were superb! We felt very cozy and comfortable and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. The broadband speed was excellent at all times. We liked the very convenient car parking. Even though the weather was mostly wintry we still had sunny days and had many walks along the Headland and into Newquay to enjoy Read morethe town beaches. We would happily return to 17 Waters Edge! Hide

A clean and comfortable apartment. Great views overlooking the beach. The parking space was a bonus as the road in front of the property was always busy. Good walks directly from the the front door. Shops not far away.
