The detached lodge is bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings. On the ground floor is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, which is a great place for entertaining and enjoying family time together. This opens onto a terrace, where you can dine alfresco in summer months. This is also a sunny spot for the pup to enjoy a siesta after a long walk. Also on this level are two bedrooms and the family bathroom. Upstairs, discover an impressive lounge/playroom, with comfortable seating, a pool table, and access to a second terrace. Two bedrooms complete the property, along with a shower room.
Take a day trip to the fishing port of Padstow, where you’ll find a picturesque harbour and an excellent range of seafood restaurants – many of which welcome four-pawed diners. From here, join the South West Coast Path. Follow it to Harlyn Bay (7 miles), where you’ll find a stunning beach that welcomes hounds all year and boasts breathtaking views across to Daymer Bay. Prideaux Place (7.5 miles) makes a great doggy day out. You and the pup can stroll amongst the impressive floral displays, before sharing a picnic in the grounds of the Elizabethan manor.
