Take your ecstatic hound to North Norfolk and let him bound across the wide, open sands of beautiful beaches before returning to this cosy brick and flint cottage to bask beside the open fire. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat at North Creake offers enticing accommodation that your pet is welcome to share, as well as an exquisite, enclosed garden.
Make your way in via the hall, where you and Rex can pause for a while to enjoy a little quiet time. There is a sofa in here, plus a TV and a desk for any work. The main lounge is larger, with a Smart TV and an open fire for warming furry feet beside during the colder months. Head through to the kitchen/diner to prepare meals for all party members, including your furry friend, and to dine at the table. There is a door in here to the garden. The family bathroom is also downstairs, while a king-size bedroom and a twin room are upstairs. Let Rex enjoy nosing about the pretty garden on balmy summer evenings, while you fire up the BBQ and have a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Parking is on the road, subject to availability.
Lace up your walking boots, pick up the dog lead and enjoy long country walks from the door. Visit the ruins of Creake Abbey, 1 mile away. Venture 4.5 miles up to Burnham Overy Staithe to pick up the Norfolk Coast Path or walk out 1 mile across the marshes to the sea. When you reach the beach, your pup can run free all year round. Brancaster Beach, 8.5 miles away, is popular with families and, apart from a small section, also has no restrictions.
