Lose yourselves in the glorious South Downs National Park when you stay at this Sussex retreat with your best canine companion. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom cottage is set within a country estate that you are free to explore with your furry friend. Return to your country hideaway after each exciting doggy day out to relax inside or out and spend some quiet time with your happy hound.
Make your way into this split-level property to discover accommodation with all the creature comforts you require. Put your feet and paws up in the open-plan lounge/diner, where you can watch TV, read your books and give your pup all the attention he deserves. Find everything you need to help you prepare tasty meals in the kitchen and feed your famished furry friend in here too. There are two bedrooms at the cottage, a double, with an en-suite bathroom, and a single. These can be found a couple of steps up from the main hub of the house. There is also a family shower room, back down the steps, off the hall. Take your delighted dog for a run round the grounds in the morning. Have coffee, or even breakfast, in front of your cottage.
Take part in activities, such as clay pigeon shooting, on site or head off into the downs to stretch furry legs on long walks. Venture 2.5 miles to Woodbedding Common, where there is National Trust land through which you can follow wood and moorland trails, and there are areas where your chum can run free without a lead. The National Trust’s Lavington Common, 5 miles away, is another beautiful area that your delighted dog is welcome to explore with you.
