If you couldn’t enjoy a reunion of family or friends without the company of your favourite pets then this property is the one for you. Hosting a mighty 20 guests and welcoming four pups with just as much gusto, you really will find something for everyone when staying here. Be sure to keep a close eye on the pups when staying on this impressive 30-acre estate – there’s a variety of animals including pygmy goats, alpacas, ponies, pigs, and sheep to meet within the grounds of the property. The enclosed paddock offers plenty of safe space to exercise your four-pawed pals before enjoying a well-earned drink on the wraparound patio.
Presenting ample space both inside and out, you’re certain to find something to go mutts for when staying here. As you enter, you’re greeted by five ground-floor en-suite bedrooms, each furnished with two super-king-size zip-and-link beds (which can be made into twins on request). Let the dogs curl up in the corner whilst you drift off and dream of outdoor adventures yet to come. Heading up to the first floor via the stairs or electric lift, you’ll find an open-plan space, including a kitchen/diner with a large, refectory-style table, and a generous lounge with Juliet balcony.
Head out on an adventure in surrounding Powys, packing up all of the much-needed treats for a day of interesting dog walks. Head to Newton (3 miles) to explore a calming route along the River Severn or to Welshpool (11.5 miles) to embark on a trip along the Montgomery Canal. A local attraction, also accessible from this nearby town, is the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. Perfect for a sunny afternoon, this excursion is always pup-friendly and will ferry you through mid-Wales rolling hills and along to the smaller town of Llanfair Caereinion (8 miles).
