Nestled alongside the banks of the River Dever, lose yourself in fetching views of the surrounding lavender fields and countryside from almost every window of this peaceful cottage. Boasting a heated outdoor pool, a covered patio and plenty of scenic walks on the doorstep, it would be hard to not fall head over heels for this tranquil haven.

Floor-to-ceiling picture windows, a roaring wooden burner and exposed ceiling beams create a true warmth in the open-plan lounge that invites weary muscles to unwind on the plush sofa and tired paws to curl up on their special blanket at your feet. Tame the growl of hungry tummies by rustling up some tasty treats in the contemporary cottage-style kitchen/diner that’s spacious enough for your whole pack plus your top dog. Answer the call of bedtime in the ground floor double bedroom or cosy twin bedroom upstairs on the mezzanine level. Those with a nose for nature will go barking mad for the outdoor heated pool, covered patio and large lawn perfect for playful pups to let off some steam.

Find peace, tranquillity and plenty of stick-throwing opportunities as you explore the scenic footpaths through the sleepy hamlet of Bransbury, nestled alongside the River Dever. Strike out on foot or two wheels (if your four-pawed pal can keep up) to Barton Stacey, 1.5 miles away, to sniff out some tasty treats from the farm shop. Those with a nose for culture can head to the historic city of Winchester (13 miles) to explore the grounds of Winchester Cathedral with their four-pawed pal in tow. Travel through miles of tail-wagging Hampshire countryside on a steam train along the Watercress Line from Alresford, 19 miles away.

A lovely private, comfortable property and our dog's idea of heaven. Plenty of walks straight from the property across the garden/field and out onto a footpath, 1.25 miles across fields to the shop and pub and in the other direction the common. Hoping to return in the summer when we can make use of the pool. Loved it!

A beautiful peaceful setting with all the comforts needed for a restful break. Thank you Clare for accommodating us and our little dog at short notice and being so flexible on the date too. We fully recommend this cottage and the amazing grounds it sits in.
