Centrally located in the Devonshire countryside, this stylish apartment for a couple and their four-pawed companion is set in the heart of a delightful Mid-Devon village. Explore the high tors and wooded valleys of Exmoor National Park, cycle or stroll the Tarka Trail and enjoy some of the UK’s finest beaches, all within easy reach of this rural bolt-hole.

Entering via large wooden double doors with a distinctly farmhouse industry look about them, the ground-floor boot room is perfect for kicking off muddy shoes and washing down your canine companion. Upstairs, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a bright and light space with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy countryside views from the comfort of the corner sofa and the cosy bedroom where an inviting double bed awaits. The apartment has no outside area, but green spaces are only a stroll away for Fido to stretch his legs.

This lovely home is set in the centre of Chumleigh, a bustling Devon village with shops, pubs and takeaways all within a couple of hundred metres. Nearby Exmoor National Park is open all year round, and the park actively encourages dog lovers to bring along their beloved pups for the walkies of a lifetime. Take a dip at the beach at Saunton Sands, 22 miles away, which offers over 4 miles of dog-friendly shoreline, perfect for a game of fetch or digging for bones. After all that excitement, you will need a refreshment at the local pub (150 metres), where four legs are as welcome at the bar as two.

Great place to stay The cottage was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could want Charming village Excellent walks in the area Good local pubs and shops South Moulton nearby is a must to visit I would definitely recommend a stay at Cobblers Cottage
