Set within a picturesque village just a stones' throw from the Yorkshire Dales, this charming bungalow is just perfect for explorers whatever the time of year.
Furry friends can access all areas in this charming two-bed accommodation on one level that would suit a small family, couple or two couples down to the ground. The enclosed garden, largely paved, has a real oasis vibe with its greenery and planting providing shade for any hot dogs (or humans!). Or watch the night sky around the fire pit or charcoal BBQ. Located in the attractive village of Bradley, it’s just 5 miles from the start of the famous Yorkshire Dales National Park and all the wonderful opportunities for walkies and exploring villages that the area offers.
As you enter, leave your boots and coats in the utility room, handy for keeping dog towels too. Downstairs, you can relax in the welcoming lounge after a hard day’s exploring. It’s a light and airy space with rustic pops from the exposed stone chimney and dark wood ceiling. Next door, the open-plan kitchen/diner has everything you’ll need to cook up a storm while on holiday and a table comfortably seating four, obviously with room for sleeping dogs underneath. Upstairs, the sleeping accommodation comprises a king-size bedroom and one with bunks. Both are neutral, calming spaces and share a modern shower room. The private courtyard garden is a lovely spot to spend time observing nature.
Head to the village pub if you fancy eating out where your dogs are welcome too! Surrounded by open countryside, there’s no shortage of walking and cycling routes from this bungalow, either. Or walk your canine companion along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal that leads to the bustling town of Skipton. Here you can stock up on supplies at the excellent market held three days a week and enjoy the independent shops, bars and restaurants. Medieval Skipton Castle is worth a nose around too and Fido is welcome on a lead.
