You’re sure to have a wonderful holiday at this remote property with breathtaking views in the Highlands of Scotland. With seven bedrooms, it makes a fabulous holiday base for a group of friends or extended family – and naturally that includes man’s best friends. Take the lead and head outdoors into the beautiful wilderness of the Great Glen, whether that’s for hiking or cycling amid the inspiring scenery. Or let Fido sniff out the River Lochy across the field and walk along its banks looking for salmon. After a long day, let sleeping dogs lie under the large dining table as you discuss the day before cosying up by the wood burner.
There’s plenty of room for two- and four-legged holiday companions in the striking open-plan living accommodation. The contemporary kitchen fulfils all self-catering needs, with a sizeable table to eat at and stacks of comfortable seating arranged around the wood burner. The feature floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside in, so both you and your furry friend can sit and dream while looking out towards the hills! This space also boasts practical hard flooring with rugs, an ideal spot for those cosy dog beds. Outside, the large garden is not enclosed, so dogs inclined to roaming should be kept under close control, preferably on a lead!
Set tails wagging exploring the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants of Fort William (8 miles) – many are happy to take dogs. Quaint Spean Bridge with its commando memorial is just 2.5 miles away. Both of these places have a choice of vets for peace of mind. If you plan on climbing Ben Nevis, make sure there’s someone to take care of your canine companion as the terrain can be hard. Instead, they might enjoy wandering the countryside close to the property.
