Tucked away on the edge of the idyllic village of Comrie, you’ll find plenty of stick-throwing opportunities in Glen Lednock and Glen Artney that surround this tail-wagging getaway. This is the ultimate retreat for families and groups of friends looking for an escape to the country with their tufty-pawed pal.

Tired paws won’t be able to resist curling up in the sunroom whilst you put your feet up on the sofa and lose yourself in views across the garden. Leave your four-legged friend to doze and head into the adjoining lounge with your whole pack to share tales of the day’s adventures to the crackle of the wood burner. Creative cooks can rustle up some tasty treats and fill up the dog’s water bowl in the contemporary kitchen as the rest of the pack enjoy a glass of something chilled in the dining room. You have an en-suite double bedroom downstairs, plus a second double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs to retire to for a rest that’ll leave you with a new leash of life before tomorrow’s adventure. Outside, your four-legged friends can let off some steam on the wraparound lawn as you dine alfresco on the patio.

Nestled in the middle of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney amidst the glorious Perthshire countryside, the rural village of Comrie boasts some fabulous unspoilt scenery and a brilliant selection of independent shops and restaurants; peruse the town centre with your four-pawed pal to sniff out some of the best local treats this area has to offer. Your canine companion will go mutts for the riverside walks in and around the area; being on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, endless hikes and cycle routes await to be explored by those who have a nose for nature.

Lovely quirky cottage with a great garden. Peaceful location. Stairs are steep to two of the bedrooms , though theres a lovely downstairs bedroom for people unable to manage them.

Had a fabulous week in the cottage. Everything we hoped for and more. The log burner made it cosy. Good to have the option of the conservatory to watch and listen to the birds. Enjoyed the walks from the cottage. Ate twice in the Deils Restaurant would recommend very friendly and fabulous food.

A very nice cottage, well equipped and set up. Loved the conservatory overlooking the garden, and the garden itself, safe for dogs and children. An easy and pretty walk to shops and facilities.

Lovely house. Very well equipped from kitchen to laundry. Map with local walks very much appreciated. We did three of them. Great sunny weather with terrific scenery. Lovely garden - nicely planted tubs. (we did water the tubs!) The food at the Royal was way above our expectations for a wee Perthshire village. We would recommend to anyone. A perfect holiday for a week. Quiet location and easy walking distance to centre of village. Cozy house. The two single beds maybe not for adults. Grandson 14 and too short for him but be ok for younger children. Be careful of stairs but ok if take your time. Lovely garden to chill in.
