Take a narrow path and steps leading up to the first-floor apartment which offers light, bright and airy open-plan living. Rustle up some breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the handy kitchen, while you let your sleeping dog lie in front of the electric fire. When you are ready for a good night’s sleep, head through to the comfortable en-suite bedroom. Guests also have access to a private, enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Perfect for evenings dining alfresco, or a spot to enjoy a morning coffee, while your canine companion can safely explore.

Nestled in the Bride Valley countryside, Litton Cheney has a lovely dog-friendly pub, and a sheltered reservoir. Enjoy waterside strolls or try out kayaking or paddleboarding on the activity lake. Lead the way to adventure at the rugged Jurassic Coast, with the superb sandy shores of West Bexington (4 miles), and the fabulous dog-friendly Cogden Beach (4.5 miles). The bustling town of Dorchester (9 miles) is a great place to spend a day, with lots of places to eat and several museums and open spaces to enjoy. Head to the wonderful village of Cerne Abbas (12 miles) and visit the ancient chalk giant carved into the hillside. ?

A lovely clean and well equipped apartment, like home from home. Nice garden for the dog and to sit in when the weather is kind. Great location for touring the south coast in both directions. Kathy and Steve were wonderful hosts.

We really enjoyed our week at Hill View. A gorgeous location in a village setting, peaceful with a lovely garden. The apartment had everything that was required and was comfortable and warm. It was very clean, with plenty of natural sunlight. It was really lovely to meet Kathleen at the start and end of the holiday which added a personal touch. Accommodation was perfect for the two of us and our labrador. Very comfortable and probably the best equipped holiday let we have experienced. Ideally situated for visiting nearby beaches and some good local pubs and cafes.

The owners of the property were very pleasant and helpful when required. The property was spotlessly clean and everything well catered for. It is set in a nice quiet location and convenient for many places on the Dorset coast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hill View, Litton Cheney. Very peaceful and lack of light pollution made the night skies even more enjoyable. The private garden was lovely but holidaying in mid November, with typical November weather we were not able to sit and enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Very well equipped and compact accommodation. It had all we could possibly need . Just a small useful addition could be a towel hook in the bathroom for the hand towel to attach to near the basin.

Lovely little apartment tucked away in a quiet semi-rural location, not too far from larger cities. Kathy came to visit us a couple of times, very friendly and approachable! Comfortable accomodation and nice garden in a quiet village. Plenty of footpaths for dog walks and 15 minutes from Hive beach. Good beer and food at the local pub. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet and peaceful and no light pollution! We could see the stars. Enjoyed cream tea in our own garden with the birds, butterflies and bees.

It was a lovely apartment with its own garden. The location was between Bridport and Dorchester . To get to the village is a long winding road with plenty of passing bays. Dogs are allowed, but you wouldnt know because of how clean it was. We would definitely stay there again.

Well equipped and comfortable holiday home with a lovely private garden to enjoy the evening sun in. If you are looking for some peace and quiet this is the right place . Situated in a very picturesque Dorset village with a dog friendly local pub which had a lovely welcoming atmosphere and serving great pub food.
