Step inside this beautiful stone-built barn which has been thoughtfully refurbished and handsomely decorated throughout. The majority of the living accommodation is located on the first floor, taking full advantage of the spectacular views across Tarset Valley and the surrounding open countryside. Through the spacious, bright hallway you can reach the front garden via a glazed door, but this is also where you’ll find the three attractive ground floor bedrooms. Two are king-size rooms, each with gorgeous feature stone fireplaces and beamed ceilings and there is also a cosy twin bedroom. The family shower room has a wet-room style shower and WC as well as there being an additional downstairs WC. Upstairs, step into the stunning open plan living space with lounge, kitchen and dining area. Boasting impressive vaulted ceilings that draws up the eye, it feels incredibly spacious. A contemporary kitchen features all the mod-cons required for a well-catered stay, and this gives way to the dining area and spacious-but-cosy lounge beyond. With its Chesterfield style sofas, heavy drapes and an original stone fireplace that looms overhead, it’s the ideal spot to curl up with a book and let sleeping dogs lie at your feet. To the front of the cottage there is a large, south-facing garden, flat and with a shallow incline, it is a great place for children – or dogs – to run off excess energy. Sit back and enjoy the views…and don’t forget to look up after dark…there is plenty of seating outside and a picnic table for alfresco dining. Up to three cars can park off-road at the rear of the property.
